3/5/08 - Station 27 crews were dispatched at 2020 hrs to 215 Bellman St for a Gas Leak.  Chief 27-2 (Hartshorn) arrived on scene and assumed Command. Crews arrived and upon investigation had found a gas meter that had been struck by a vehicle, but the vehicle had left the scene. Gas was shut-off at the meter and crews utilized the multi gas meter to check the interior of the structure for leaks....nothing found. Gas company notified and crews went back in service at 2119 hrs.









3/7/08 -  Station 27 & Station 23 Crews were dispatched at 1940, for possible Structure Fire at 14 Charles St. Chief 27-2 (Hartshorn)arrived on scene and assumed command. As crews arrived on scene command advised the smoke was coming from a wood burner and placed all companies back in service. 









3/23/08 - Station 27 crews were dispatched at 0934 hrs for a commercial fire alarm at Puzzle's Pub. Chief 27-2 (Hartshorn) arrived on scene and assumed command, advising all units that dust had set off the fire alarm and placed all companies back in service.









3/24/08 - Another Fire Alarm at Puzzle's Pub in the borough.....Crews from Stations' 27 & 23 were awakened at 0703 hrs for the AFA sounding at the Puzzle's Pub Business Establishment. Capt. 27-3 (Cesari  III ) arrived on scene and assumed command, with the owner saying it was a false activation, Command placed all companies on the box back in service at 0706. Companies on the box : L27, R27, E23, 23-9(ems).









3/28/08 - Station 27 crews sprang into action at 1802 hrs for the vehicle rollover / unknown entrapment on 900 Sanderson St in front of Nivert Metal. As emergency crews responded, Comm Center advised all occupants were out of the vehicle . Chief 27-3 (Bocan)
arriving on the 27 Rescue assumed Command , finding one vehicle (SUV) on it's right side partially in the roadway and held the 27 Rescue , 27 Ladder, & returned 27 Engine. The 27 Ladder Crew stood by on the scene while the 27 Rescue handled hazard fluid control. The 27 Ladder crew was released by command and returned to service at 1825.
